Hi, I’m Porshe Smiley, the Founder of Bibles and Blankets. This gathering was birthed from a moment of obedience. I truly felt God impress on my heart to bring women together to dwell in His presence and grow in His Word. Let's have real conversations about who He is, what He’s calling us to, and how we can boldly walk that out. And what better way to do that than in a cozy, relaxed environment where we can lounge, laugh, learn, and lean into His voice together?
Bibles and Blankets isn’t about being just having something to do, it’s about encouraging real change. It’s about creating a safe and intentional space for women to talk about Jesus…His principles, His character, and our responsibility as His followers. Are you called? Are you listening? Are you willing to obey? Do you know what it means to surrender? These are the conversations we’re having. My passion is to inspire women to step fully into their God-given purpose and calling, just as I am striving to do. If through this event God can spark transformation, impart wisdom, and draw hearts closer to Him, then I’m simply doing what He’s asked me to do.
